On the drive to preschool this morning:

What's more important--love or money?

(without hesitation) Love and money.

(silence)

What do you mean?

Well, I'm just saying . . . money is important to pay. Love is important to fill up your body with love.

(more silence)

So love is like food?

Yeah, I'm just saying.

i asked her about your conversation this morning at dinner while you were out...lupita said that love is important because you need to fill your heart with love. i said that was a very good insight, and she said, "what's insight?" and i said it's like understanding.

I love her last comment: "Yeah, I'm just saying." It almost reminded me of when she was on her "Well MAYBE I'm going to..." phase, probably because they both sound like things that grown-ups would say moreso than a little girl! haha!
